Taste Notes: Low acidity, hints of pineapple, earthy mouthfeel
Grind:Available on request
Exe Coffee Roasters has been on the lookout for a funky African coffee for a few months before coming across Muyingya Emmy's work. This renown farmer grows coffee in the Rwenzori Mountains (Mountains of the Moon) where excellent climatic conditions paired with the passion and care of pickers give an exceptional production.
Emmy is one of many farmers that share the ethics of the Bukonzo Tribes whose priority was to build a better and sustainable life for future generations. Cherries from Bukonzo Dream are hand-picked and hand-sorted to guarantee the quality of every single cup and build long-lasting relationships with exporters and roasters. Exe Coffee Roasters is thrilled to be part of this future-oriented vision of coffee growing and came up with a beautiful roast that tamed the acidity of this lot while putting its funky fruity notes under the spotlight.
This coffee gives its full potential when drunk as a cafetière but, truly, there is no wrong way to enjoy the earthy mouthfeel and cheeky hints of pineapple it offers.
