Our much-loved blend is a delicious, fool-proof solution for all. A top-end espresso that is rich in body with balanced acidity and a sweet finish. A perfect cafetiere with gentle acidity, big mouthfeel, and notes of chocolate and raisin to finish.

We believe a blend is about achieving a flavour greater than the sum of its parts, and we have been perfecting our Neighbourhood blend for some seven years. Our roast profile continues to find ways of bringing out the best that the component coffees offer.

Fresh, but unpleasant
I don’t get it: I have a flat burr grinder and a vintage hand pull coffee machine (La Pavoni) I’ve tried preparing this coffee as an espresso (with differing grinds) and also as an aeropress.
The results are consistently unpleasant: just sour, metallic and horrid.
The beans seem to produce a good crema and the coffee smells ok, but the taste is ghastly.

New to Exe Coffee
Recently bought a proper bean to cup espresso machine so wanted decent coffee to be able to make a good cup of coffee at home. Neighbourhood blend does NOT disappoint! Great coffee beans. Will certainly be getting another batch.
